We follow the Pennsylvania Department of Education guidelines for allowable infractions.

Child Care
AIDES

​​

  •  Age 18+

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED

  • Available Monday-Friday, daytime hours (10-25 hours per week)

  • Able to complete all State and Federal Clearances

  • On-site and online training provide

ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS
EXERCISE
INSTRUCTOR

  • First Aid and Movement Disorder Experience preferred

  • CPR Certification preferred

  • Be able to recommend and demonstrate exercise modifications or advancements to safely enhance and promote the desired fitness goals of the members.

  • Mid-day Availability 

GYMNASTICS INSTRUCTOR

  • Lead gymnastics classes for children at various skill levels

  • Provide safe and effective spotting for skills, including back handsprings, front handsprings, back tucks, and other advanced movements

  • Instruct athletes in proper technique, form, and progression

  • Monitor the safe use of gymnastics equipment such as beam, bars, and floor

  • Maintain a positive and encouraging environment that fosters growth, confidence, and fun INSTRUCTOR

  • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and supervising practice areas

  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding athlete progress and class information *Free membership with employmenT

YOGA
INSTRUCTOR

  • Works directly with the Wellness Director and/or Group Exercise Coordinator to engage and retain members by helping Y members achieve their health and wellness goals in a group exercise setting through creative and professionally designed classes appropriate to the fitness level of participants in the class. Keep group exercise areas clean, organized and safe.

  • Must have, or be in the process of obtaining, CPR, First Aid and current relevant national Group Exercise certification.

MOVEMENT
DISORDER SPECIALIST

  • Maintain knowledge of movement disorders and available resources

  • Lead safe, fun, and educational group classes aligned with YMCA goals

  • Provide weekly updates and respond to member questions about programs and events

  • Build relationships with members and encourage community connections

  • Adapt instruction to meet participants’ needs, abilities, and background

A.M. BABY
SITTER

  • The Babysitter is responsible for the care and well-being of children ages 6 weeks through 8 years whose parents/guardians are using YMCA programs or facilities

  • HOURS: Varying shifts, Monday–Friday 8:00-11:00AM Occasional Saturday mornings 8:00-11:00AM
