Lead and Inspire active senior members in a fun, safe, and effective workout through proper form and technique.

Ability to recommend and demonstrate exercise modifications or advancements to safely enhance and promote desired fitness goals

Assist with supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities

Support daily routines, transitions, and homework time

MOVEMENT
DISORDER SPECIALIST

Maintain knowledge of movement disorders and available resources •

Lead safe, fun, and educational group classes aligned with YMCA goals

Provide weekly updates and respond to member questions about programs and events

Build relationships with members and encourage community connections

Adapt instruction to meet participants’ needs, abilities, and background

High school graduate or equivalent; one year or more of college preferred
-
Previous experience working with children preferably in a day camp setting.

Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, archery, boating, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc. Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, archery, boating, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc.

At least 18 years of age

CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date

Must be dependable, able to make sound decisions outside of direct supervision and available to work for the duration of summer.
