ADULT CLASSES

Water acts as a liquid weight machine that offers resistance, with little impact on joints during this fitness class. This low to moderate-intensity workout uses music and movement to add variety and excitement to your exercise experience.

No swimming skills are required. 
 
Mon/Tue/Thu - 8:45 to 9:45 am
Mon/Wed/Fri - 2:00 to 3:00 pm
Tue/Thu - 10:30 to 11:30 am

Class is designed to maximize functional resistance in the water. Includes power, strength, and flexibility training.

YOUTH CLASSES

PARENT/CHILD

AGES 6 MONTHS

TO 36  MONTHS

Our goal for this class is to get both the parent and child comfortable in the water. Children become familiar with aquatic activities through games and songs, while adults teach their children how to be safe in and around the water.

Sat - 10:00 to 10:30 am

PRE-SCHOOL LESSONS

AGES 3 TO 5 YEARS

​

Students learn the fundamentals of swimming and water safety while benefitting from our low student to instructor ratios and proven individualized lesson plans. Our highly trained and experienced staff provide a safe, fun environment for your child’s instruction

​

Monday: 5:15-5:45pm / 6:00-6:30 / 6:45-7:15pm Wednesday: 5:15-5:45pm / 6:00-6:30pm / 6:45-7:15pm

Saturday: 8:45-9:15am / 9:30-10am / 10:00- 10:30am

YOUTH LEVEL 1

AGES 6 TO 12

Youth Level 1 introduces basic aquatic skills and the fundamentals of swimming, which students continue to build on throughout their lesson time. In addition, participants are instructed in the importance of positive attitudes, effective swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water.

 

Monday: 5:15-5:45pm / 6-6:30pm

Wednesday 5:15-5:45pm / 6-6:30pm

Saturday: 8:45-9:15am / 9:30-10am

YOUTH ADVANCED LEVEL

AGES 6 TO 12

Our advanced class builds on the fundamentals taught in our Level 1 class and includes instruction in stroke technique, personal rescue skills, and endurance training.

Monday 6:45-7:15pm

Saturday 10-10:30am

FAMILY SWIM (NON-MEMBERS)

Although the temperature may be dropping outside, our pool is warm and ready for some family fun! Our zero-ramp entry is perfect for toddlers and inexperienced swimmers, while others can enjoy an exciting game of Water Basket-ball. The YMCA Aquatic Staff is eager to provide a safe and fun-filled visit to our pool!
